Associate Software Engineer

About the role

This is an entry-level role designed for engineers who are early in their careers and ready to grow fast. You'll work alongside senior engineers on real product features — no toy projects, no busywork.

We invest heavily in our associate engineers. You'll get a dedicated mentor, structured onboarding, and a clear path to mid-level within 18 months.

What you'll do

• Build and ship features across LTM's backend and frontend codebases with guidance from senior engineers
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code review
• Debug and resolve issues in production systems
• Collaborate with product and design to understand requirements and ask good questions
• Learn and grow — take on increasing ownership as your skills develop

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid fundamentals in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar)
• Basic understanding of web development concepts (HTTP, REST APIs, databases)
• Ability to read and understand existing code, not just write new code
• Curiosity, humility, and a genuine desire to improve

Nice to have

• Internship or project experience building and shipping software
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or containerisation (Docker)
