Frontend Engineer, Design Systems

About the role

You'll own LTM's component library and design system — the shared foundation that every product team builds on.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering and design, requiring both technical depth and a strong eye for quality.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and evolve LTM's React component library
• Partner with designers to translate design tokens and patterns into code
• Write thorough documentation and usage guidelines for every component
• Establish accessibility standards and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across the system
• Advocate for design system adoption across product teams

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of frontend engineering experience
• Expert-level React and TypeScript skills
• Strong understanding of CSS architecture, design tokens, and theming
• Experience building or contributing to a component library or design system
• Deep commitment to web accessibility (ARIA, keyboard navigation, screen readers)

Nice to have

• Experience with Storybook, Chromatic, or similar component development tools
• Familiarity with Figma and design-to-code workflows
• Background in animation and motion design
